The foundation is what you return to for each project, subproject, or task. As mentioned previously, where you start is always a function of the task at hand; sometimes that’s just figuring out why users are not satisfied with the interaction between point A and point B, while other times, it could be a market fit project for a new offering.
Whatever the case, each has a foundation where roughly 60% is the same for each, and 40% is geared toward that project type. Think of the old adage, “We don’t need to reinvent the wheel.”
What’s true about that is that every wheel is a circle and that it attaches to a car, bike, motorcycle, baby carriage, train, plane, bus, and so on, and the wheel allows those vehicles to move along the ground. So, if you’re building something that needs to move along the ground, a wheel must be included.
