In this chapter, you learned that doing a good readout for your teams is just as important as the work you did to get the analytics. If you can’t show it with impact, you may cause yourself – and the team – extra work.
You also learned the important steps in getting a UX analytics project started once you’ve been given the task, the order in which you’ll carry out the best practices, the materials needed, the people to speak to, and so forth.
And to further strengthen your understanding of the types of metrics to gather, we went deeper into qualitative and quantitative analysis and how to best synthesize and present the findings from your analysis.
Next up, in Chapter 4, we’re going to get into the importance of working with repeatable processes. This speeds up work tremendously and also ensures that the onboarding of new UXers to your team is smooth and efficient.
