Think back to Chapter 8 where we introduced the Stakeholder interview template. In question 7, we asked for KPI data. And this is the part mentioned there about getting more clarity, so here we go!

Let’s imagine that some of the KPIs they mentioned during the interview aren’t simple numbers from a column in a spreadsheet or database somewhere. They could be derived or calculated from other data and are not easy to find. And remember too that the numbers that stakeholders want to see are often higher-level metrics that are a few levels above what our users have in their spreadsheets.
