At its very core, a UX project is initiated and managed to fix a problem of UX within a system or software product. Companies spend a lot of money on software, the engineers to implement the infrastructure to support it, the developers to code it to tie it into databases and possibly other current systems, and the UI designers to create the look and feel. There are also course designers whose job it is to create onboarding materials that will teach others how to use the new software, so all in, a company’s financial outlay only starts with the initial purchase, but as you can see, it then involves many other expenses to get it up and running and then continue to run into the future.
All companies want to know how fast they will get their Return on Investment (ROI), and that’s where UX analytics has a huge role to play.
