To pair your Quest VR headset with the Oculus mobile phone app, do the following:
- On a mobile phone, install the Oculus app and log in with your Facebook/Oculus account (you can create a new account if you don't have one). You may need to permit location services for your phone to link to your Oculus Quest VR headset.
- You need to create an organization in order to work with the Quest headset in Developer Mode. Visit the following web page, create an organization, and give it a name (for example, I created one named mattsmithdev): https://dashboard.oculus.com/organizations/create/.
- You'll also be asked to set up a VR profile name and image, as well as set up a PIN code for the Oculus store.
- You will then be asked to select your headset – select Quest or Quest 2 as appropriate:
