Network visualization has been a challenge since the early days of networking. Starting with paper napkins and working up to complex applications, there has always been a need to visually describe and reference network implementations. The cloud is no different in that respect. AWS has a network monitoring and visualization offering in TGW Network Manager (NM ) (also referred to as AWS Network Manager). This was briefly introduced in Chapter 2, VPC Traffic and Performance Monitoring, but this section will cover how to build and register a TGW implementation to understand the deployed network topology.
