In her book Transformative Experience, Yale philosopher L.A. Paul makes the point that if someone has not experienced something that is hard to imagine due to lack of similar experiences to compare to, then it is very difficult to predict what that experience would be like. The only remedy to this would be to go through the experience.
Opinions about what the experience would be like, versus what the experience is actually like for the person who finally undergoes it, usually do not converge. The connections to Spatial Computing technologies, and how it is difficult to understand them without experiencing them, is the point here. People who have not experienced Virtual Reality and/or Augmented Reality really do not have a good understanding of it, though opinions abound.
