Logistics is undergoing its own emerging mini-revolution when it comes to utilizing Spatial Computing. Companies like Seegrid, who make Vision-Guided Vehicles (VGVs), help in reducing the high accident rates associated with human-manned forklifts. These VGVs use Computer Vision and sensing technology to know where to go on the floor and to avoid obstacles in their way. Companies such as BMW, Jaguar, and Whirlpool, among many others, use Seegrid’s VGVs on their warehouse floors.
