How do you learn? Some can learn well from a book. The two coauthors find that they learn far better by actually seeing how something works, or, better yet, building it and teaching it to others. That is why we chose the line of work that we are pursuing, choosing to talk to people who are making the world work and seeing how they do it.
VR and AR bring us a very powerful new education technology that can do just that: give you the ability to see, build, and learn about something in a way that closely maps how we learn. Even better, because it maps to what we already know about the real world, like how to grasp a cup, this learning will be open to far more people, even those who struggle to read.
