Reaching business nirvana could trigger issues that verge on the unethical. When systems are set up to be hyper-vigilant in order to maximize information gathering and understanding, it is not surprising that boundaries that should not be crossed are. Given that Spatial Computing is in its relative infancy, those boundaries need to be identified. Here, we first provide a framework that will aid in understanding why human beings tend to have cognitive issues with radical new technologies, and then we provide a background on current issues relating to privacy, security, identity, and ownership, and identify their relevance to Spatial Computing. We then proceed to discuss how Spatial Computing business nirvana and human social good could intersect as much as possible.
