Edit without Tears with Final Cut Pro

When working in Final Cut Pro’s browser, you will sort clips that are categorized as Best, Suitable, Maybe, and B Roll. Depending on your workflow, you may want to have other categories; it’s your choice. I use the Favorites feature for my Best
category.
As you saw in the Ingesting the media section, there is considerable flexibility in how you make use of the different categories, something similar to the library and event flexibility. But with flexibility comes indecision, so to give you some help, I’ll give some actual examples with appropriate names that you can use.
My suggestion is to have at least four categories where you can store the different clips depending on their suitability for the edit.
