The harder fixes

These fixes will take time to resolve and are more complex than what you have tried so far. The main consideration is to follow the steps logically and not become frustrated with the process.

These steps will resolve your issues by finding faulty plug-ins, removing them from your project, and ultimately deleting them from the system. If you have resolved any possible plug-in issues and you still cannot export, you need to look for corruptions in your clips.

If you have error messages about render files and frame errors, it’s best to jump to the section later in this chapter that covers that: Locating a corruption. If you are still having issues other than exporting, then there are further steps you can take.

Fixing a faulty effect, transition, or title

This section will show you how to locate a plug-in that is causing issues. It may be just a matter of a simple check to find a red message in the viewer:
