Monitoring color accuracy

Color accuracy is a crucial aspect of monitoring performance, particularly for professional video editors, photographers, and graphic designers who require accurate color representation for their work. Inaccurate colors can result in images and videos that appear unnatural, washed out, or overly saturated, which can compromise the quality of the final product.

Color accuracy is typically measured using industry-standard metrics such as Delta E, which calculates the difference between the intended color and the color displayed on the monitor. A Delta E value of less than 2 is considered excellent, while a Delta E value of 3-4 is considered acceptable for most users.
