Creating courses

Back in Chapter 3, Uploading Learning Content and Managing the Content Library, you uploaded various types of modules to Adobe Learning Manager. In the previous section, you created a custom Skill. Everything is now in place for you to create your first custom course.

Creating a self-paced course

At its most basic level, a course is a simple list of learning activities. In this section, you will create a self-paced course using the modules you uploaded in the previous chapter.

Creating courses is a task devoted to an author, so first, you need to log in as an Author:

  1. Log in to your Learning Manager account and click the user icon located in the upper-right corner of the screen to switch to the Author role.
  2. From the Author home page, click the courses link located in the Learning section of the left sidebar. This takes you to the Course Catalog page.
  3. Click the Add button located in the upper-right corner of the screen.
