In this chapter, you have reviewed the Instructor role. The primary task of an instructor is to deliver the (face-to-face or virtual) classroom activities. These classroom activities are time-bound synchronous activities that require learners and instructors to be together either in a physical location or online.

This implies a whole new level of complexity and logistical constraints, such as scheduling courses, managing the waitlist, arranging the venue, sending practical details to learners in a timely fashion, sending reminders before the session, ensuring that everyone has the required video conferencing software installed, and reporting attendance to the LMS.
