MDCA provides Conditional Access control policies. You can create session or access policies to manage any application or device that supports Conditional Access policies. Access policies are configured on a per-application basis and enable you to define what devices can gain access to applications, and how they can access the app.
For example, you can create an access policy that requires only managed devices to access a specific application, so if you attempt to authenticate using an unmanaged device, the attempt will fail. Similarly, session policies will define what actions can be performed under various circumstances. For example, you can require that data that is classified as sensitive cannot be downloaded on unmanaged devices. We will now look at the details for each policy type individually.
