Sometimes, you might want to identify content that uses a particular color swatch, for example, to change all or just some of the content to a different color. If you have used a color swatch repeatedly throughout a document, it can be useful to do this quickly and easily in a single place.
In addition to this, though, you might want to identify exactly where a particular color channel or spot color will be used within your document. One example of where this could be useful is when you’re deciding whether to convert the spot colors into process colors at output time and, as a result, reduce the time and cost (and color precision) of a print job.
In this recipe, we will run through finding and changing color swatches, including within different types of content, as well as identifying where specific color separations are being used within the document.
