Designing the Adobe InDesign Way

Sometimes, you might find yourself in a situation where you want to merge colors. A good example of this would be when you have multiple separate colors, which you would like to merge into a single color for consistency.
In this recipe, we will look at a couple of different ways to merge colors in InDesign, giving you complete control of your color swatches.
To complete this recipe, simply open InDesign on your system and create a new document with 12 pages, as shown in the Creating a new document recipe in Chapter 1. You should already be comfortable with creating new color swatches, as covered earlier in this chapter.
To merge color swatches in your document, just follow these steps:
Change the font size
Change margin width
Change background colour
