Designing the Adobe InDesign Way

When a new document is created in InDesign, it will automatically contain an item named A-Parent in the Parents section at the top of the Pages panel. A-Parent is your first parent page and, by default, it is empty, but in this recipe, we will look at how to work on your A-Parent page and apply content there, including dynamic page numbering.
While we are working specifically on A-Parent, it is worth noting that the same techniques for adding content apply to other parent pages as well.
To complete this recipe, simply open InDesign on your system and create a new document with 12 pages, as shown in the Creating a new document recipe in Chapter 1.
To add content to the A-Parent page, follow these steps:
Change the font size
Change margin width
Change background colour
