In this recipe, we will look at how to align your frames. You will learn how to align frames relative to a specific key object, the margins, the page, or the whole spread. We will also look at how to distribute your frames based on a particular edge, and wrap up by looking at how to apply precise spacing between your frames using the Distribute Spacing option.
In order to complete this recipe, simply open InDesign on your system and create a new document with 12 pages, as shown in the Creating a new document recipe in Chapter 1. You will also need to know how to create new frames on your pages, as shown in the Creating rectangle or elliptical frames recipe found earlier in this chapter.
In order to align and distribute frames within your document, follow these steps:
Change the font size
Change margin width
Change background colour
