Designing the Adobe InDesign Way

CC Libraries can be used to save and reuse colors from items on the page, color swatches, or color themes. You can share these colors with colleagues, use them on other documents, and even use them across a variety of different CC applications.
In this recipe, we will look at adding colors to a library from objects on the page, from existing color swatches while creating new color swatches, and via color themes, before applying these colors to other items in our document.
To complete this recipe, simply open InDesign on your system and create a new document with 12 pages, as shown in the Creating a new document recipe in Chapter 1. Having done this, create a new library – I have called mine Brand Assets, as shown in the Creating, deleting, and renaming libraries recipe at the start of this chapter.
