Time for action – configuring payment through PayPal

As mentioned in Appendix A, PayPal Test Account Configuration, create buyer and seller accounts on the PayPal Sandbox environment. Also, keep note of the buyer and seller account login e-mail addresses. We will use them later in this chapter.
Navigate to the Around the Corner community as an admin.
Now click on the Configuration mode of the Shopping portlet.
In the PayPal Email Address field, enter the PayPal seller login e-mail address which we noted in step 1. Then click on the Save button and close the Configuration dialog box.

What just happened?

We just integrated our Shopping portlet with the PayPal Sandbox environment. We first created an account on the PayPal Sandbox environment. The PayPal Sandbox environment provides a facility to create the merchant and buyer accounts for testing. With the test account, we can test the actual payment workflow without affecting our bank accounts or credit cards.
