Time for action – enable notification for account creation

Log in to Liferay using admin credentials.
Navigate to the Control Panel by clicking on Manage | Control Panel from the dock bar.
Click on Portal Settings, available in the Portal section on the left-hand side, and click on Email Notifications on the right-hand side, which would bring up the following screenshot:
You will see that the first tab Sender is selected by default. This screen is meant for specifying the name and e-mail address of the sender. Change the name to Cignex Neighborhood Admin and the e-mail address to [email protected], and click on Save.
Click on the Account Created Notification tab, which will bring up the following screenshot:
Make sure that the checkbox Enabled is selected, and change the subject and body to whatever you want. This is the mail template that will be sent to users, when they create an account. There are some predefined variables (definitions of which are given below), that you can...
