Time for action – displaying breaking news as a carousel

Log in to your Liferay site as default Administrator.
On your home page, go to the Manage menu and click on Control Panel.
Click on Plugins Installation from the Server section. It will take you to the Plugins Installation screen. On this screen, click on Install More Portlets. It will take you to the screen where you can install portlets as shown in the section, setting up an online game using Flash Portlet.
Click on the Upload file and browse for portlet war file content-rotator-portlet-6.0.10.1 in the downloaded code for this book.
After that, click on Install. It will upload the war file to the Liferay server and deploy it for you. At the end of a successful deployment, you can see messages in the tomcat log to indicate successful deployment.
