As we've seen, a lot of asset gathering and preparation has gone into our game already. This merely serves as the foundation for the rest of our work in building the game. Elements such as layers to hold identifying labels and code must be created. Space for user interface elements such as dynamic text to relay information to the user during play should be included as well. Finally, clickable elements to start the game from the Start Screen or restart it from the End Screen. Additionally, we need to make the various items within our library accessible through code.
We will accomplish all of this as we work through the current section of this chapter!
