Understanding the basics of a brand

A brand is your business story that you share with your audience, clients, and anyone who may come across what you do. It helps to define relationships and appeal to your ideal customer.

The building of a brand is something that needs some serious thought. Before embarking on creating your brand, it’s best to clearly define your business, who your target market is, and how you can help them.

Branding in itself is a big enough topic for a separate book, so in this chapter, we are going to assume you already have a basic idea of what your brand looks like or what you would like it to look like.
