Configuring SCVMM basic settings

To see the complete list of basic configuration settings for SCVMM, please check Appendix B, SCVMM Management Console Configuration Settings.

After completing the installation of SCVMM 2012 and understanding the basic management features of SCVMM, we will go through the basic configuration settings required to start managing your Hyper-V infrastructure with SCVMM. As we have said previously, in this chapter we will only showcase the basic features and functionalities of SCVMM for Hyper-V, which will allow us to create virtual machines via SCVMM and manage them.
