In this last chapter of our book, we discussed the importance of virtualized instances running in our data center. In addition to this, we saw the different backup methodologies available at our disposal for backup and recovery of Hyper-V virtual machines. These backup methodologies have been used for virtualization for quite a long time now. With the recent releases of Windows Server 2012 and Hyper-V 3.0, these backup methodologies have now become more mature and been enhanced to cope with the modern virtualized infrastructure.
