In this recipe, you will learn how to conduct a simple Inventor Stress Analysis study on a part file. You will learn about the basic process and workflow of creating a Stress Analysis study, how to assign materials, apply a mesh, and generate a comprehensive report of results from the study. In the study, you will apply a Load of 500N to one end of AE_Bracket and examine the Displacement and Safety Factor settings of the part.

Getting ready

To begin this recipe, you will need to navigate to the Inventor Cookbook 2023 folder and then open Chapter 11. Select and open AE_Bracket.ipt.
