So far, we have been concentrating more heavily on the drawing and compositional aspects of creating Illustrator artwork, but projects often require a good amount of text design, as well.
Let's go over a few items you should be aware of when developing any project that requires a considerable amount of text, such as a talent comp card. This publication will require several entries based on the talent's statistics. Although the tradition of the comp card is rooted in the modeling industry, variations can be made for actors, musicians, and others.
To compose all this content, I would recommend using several different textboxes and using the alignment tools to arrange them. This will allow you to rearrange your composition with more flexibility, as you are looking for the best layout. Here are some additional suggestions for using different text layouts in your project:
Change the font size
Change margin width
Change background colour
