Markers applied to paths are like other objects in Inkscape. They have their own styles. One of the most common tasks when using markers is adjusting their style to match the one of the path they are applied to. The extension Color Markers to Match Stroke changes the fill and stroke of the markers applied to a path, applying the color of the path stroke.
The following steps will show how to set the color of stroke markers:
1. Select the Create regular (Bezier) path mode of the Pencil tool (F6 or P) and create a short wavy line.
2. Assign Arrow1Lstart as the Start Markers:, DotL as the Mid Markers:, and Arrow1Lend as the End Markers: on the Stroke style tab of the Fill and Stroke dialog (Shift + Ctrl + F).
3. Change the path stroke color to Red (#FF0000).
4. Go to Extensions | Modify Path | Color Markers to Match Stroke. The extension will be executed immediately and the markers' fill and stroke will be assigned the color of the path stroke...
