Behavioral interview questions are a type of question that asks candidates to share examples of situations they have been in (typically at work but sometimes in daily life) where they had to use certain skills or are asked to demonstrate how they navigated certain types of scenarios. You have likely heard these via a prompt that starts with “...tell me about a time when you…”. The reason for the popularity of these questions is that it gives interviewers a better sense of how potential employees would handle situations that they will inevitably encounter while working at the organization.
