  1. It’s used for covering up an edit underneath it.
  2. B-roll is used.
  3. The selected clip (or part of a clip) is connected to that point.
  4. Audio connects below, while video connects above. (Video can be moved below the Primary Storyline, but audio cannot be moved above the Primary Storyline.)
