AirWatch has put security at the core of its Enterprise Mobility Management solution. From earlier discussions in the chapter, it is evident that security is not an option but rather a requirement. Your security controls should be fully enabled and in place before you start deploying your devices.

Although the focus of the security is built around the devices, we also need to ensure that Admin Console and the infrastructure used to provide your mobile deployment is also secure. For the most part, you are most likely to already have these controls in place as AirWatch will not be your first deployment of an application and infrastructure.
