Step 1 – implementing structure and order in your portal

Similar to a financial audit, the goal of a portal audit is to go over every detail of your portal to understand where the gaps may exist. The following are a few scenarios that you can begin with when performing a HubSpot portal audit:

  • Access to platform: Double-check who currently has access to the platform and what level of access they have. This is a great time to review all the users on your platform and make sure you understand who everyone is, their role, and how they are expected to use HubSpot to determine their level of access. For instance, do all the people with super admin access need such access? This access generally gives such users the ability to edit, delete, and view everything and anything about your portal.
