One of the features of the Change Management module is that the costs are automatically managed based on the workflow designed for the project. Since each category (Budget and Commitment) has four phases, there is the potential for having up to four individual documents under each phase with separate cost distribution information. The potential for doubling or tripling the monetary information on the Cost Worksheet would be high if not using the Change Management module. Using this module forces a workflow through the phases of the change. As a result, as each phase is added to the category, the previous phase is automatically closed and the money removed from the Cost Worksheet. There is no way to have two active documents populating the Cost Worksheet from one contract. The Budget category only allows a change to be associated with one Budget contract.
