Set operators

In this section, we will take a look at the list of set operators, what they do, and then look at a demonstration of them. Here is the list of set operators:

  • +: Union operator
  • -: Exclusion operator
  • *: Intersection operator
  • /: Symmetric difference operator

This is very similar to the assignment operators. The only difference is that the = symbol is not present after the +, -, *, and / symbols.

Set operators in action

So, let's go to the application that we have been working on so far. Earlier, we used the assignment operators – let's remove that and add another condition.

We will add a + symbol after the preceding expression, and then create a new expression mentioning American Airlines Inc...
