View includes a number of user-based Group Policies that are only required when using a View desktop, such as settings for View Persona Management or the View Agent. In addition, an organization may be using some user-based Group Policies that they do not want, or should not want, applied to users when they are using View desktops, such as policies that install software applications.
Group Policy loopback processing applies policies based solely on the location of the Active Directory computer object, discarding or lowering the priority of other user policies that may have been applied by other GPOs.
Loopback processing is an advanced Group Policy feature that should not be used without understanding how it will affect the Group Policies of View desktop users. Since loopback processing will discard or reorder the application of other GPOs that apply to the user, before enabling it research what policies are affected and plan your View GPOs accordingly...
