Time for action—sending clones through effects

When we have a Beat+Bassline Editor, it can be time consuming to go to each instrument and choose the set of effects we like, then go to the next audiofile processor of the drum pattern, and go through the same process of opening the effects and assigning the settings. So we're going to explore using a dedicated FX bus to give us alternate drum pattern effects:

  1. Now let's visit our drum patterns and create clones for each drum pattern.

    The following screenshot shows what will come up at the bottom of the track list:

  2. We need to reorder this list so that the clones are next to their parent tracks. Use the textured area to the left-hand side of the action menu on the track, to move the track vertically. The textured area looks similar to the following screenshot:

    Now our tracks should be named to reflect what they sound like, as shown in the following screenshot:

  3. Open up the Beat+Bassline Editor and choose Main Beat FX 1.
