Customizing the product page template

The product layout is where WooCommerce displays all the details of a single product on the site. The shop page contains limited information such as title, image, and price. We click a product in the shop page to see the detailed product information on the product template.

The default layout contains a basic design that contains all the product data. In modern sites, we often get advanced product page layouts with components such as product image zoomers, videos, subscribing to products, social sharing, and many more. WooCommerce allows us to customize the default template by overriding it with a custom template.

In this recipe, we are going to modify the existing product page by changing existing components and adding new components, without losing the changes of WooCommerce version upgrades.
