Odoo can be installed on various platforms, including Windows, Mac, and Linux; however, in order to test Odoo, you just need a web browser on any operating system. The production environment can be set up on the Linux server either by hosting it on cloud or onsite.

Odoo can be installed on various Linux operating systems; however, we suggest that you use Ubuntu if you are a beginner to the Linux operating system.
