Deploying AVD on dedicated hosts

After learning about securing AVD using a firewall and NSGs, it’s time for the final part of this chapter. Another method of adding security to AVD is to make sure that no other organization can influence your session hosts. Normally, session hosts are deployed on shared hardware. To increase security, the IT admin can deploy a dedicated host. This is a physical server that the organization can use to host AVD session hosts. Using these dedicated hosts, the IT admin can make sure that the organization doesn’t have to share hardware with other organizations.

Because a dedicated host requires a certain amount of vCPU, the IT admin will have to make a quota request for the specific virtual machine size that the organization wants to use.
