In this chapter, we became familiar with the analytical aspects of the Force.com platform by including the reports and dashboards. You have learned the custom report types, which allow us to build flexible reports on the Force.com platform. We also discussed the reporting snapshots that allow us to analyze using historical data in the Force.com application.

In the next chapter, we focus on the e-mail feature of the Force.com platform that allows extending the application out into the broader population of users through the use of e-mail.
