Designing a backup strategy for Azure Virtual Desktop

Before we get started, I want to remind you of the shared responsibilities of using Azure Virtual Desktop. The following illustration details the responsibilities managed by Microsoft and what the customer controls. Within this chapter, we will look at all of the items within the customer section for which you are responsible.

The following screenshot shows the different responsibilities of both the customer and Microsoft. You will note that Microsoft takes care of the management plane, while the customer is responsible for everything inside the subscription.
