In the previous section, we looked at how to create survey questions and started exploring some of the question types available, in the following section, we'll take a look at some of these question types in more detail.
The text question type allows you to create a free text question on your survey. The survey respondent can enter up to 130 characters for short answers and you can turn on the option to increase the limit to 4,000 characters (with spaces) by enabling the Long Answer option. Note that there is a maximum of 16,000 characters for the entire survey and your respondent may not be able to submit a survey that exceeds the limit:

A text question supports adding restrictions for number answers, and you can specify the range of numbers that the survey respondent can provide:
