Anonymous authentication is the simplest form of authentication that Firebase supports. It generates a unique identifier for each user as long as their session lasts. The advantage of this approach is that the users don't have to share their personal information. We are going to use this technique in our next example application. We'll use the same problem domain that we discussed in Chapter 4, Firebase, and improve our code which we wrote in Chapter 5, Getting Started with AngularFire, because the earlier example didn't create any directives. We'll be using the recently released AngularFire 1.0.0 library.
