Summary


In this chapter, we explored the demand to create a powerful mobile website and the restrictions of mobile real estate considering their smaller screens. PrimeFaces Mobile for JSF-based applications was introduced. We learned the difference between core PrimeFaces and its mobile version, created customized mobile themes using jQuery Mobile ThemeRoller, and applied customized themes for PrimeFaces Mobile themes. All these topics were explained with proper examples. Now that you've reached the end of this chapter, you should be comfortable creating mobile web apps and applying customized themes to your application.

In the next chapter, we are going to learn how to ensure that our custom theme is complete by applying it to the PrimeFaces showcase and making component-specific skinning changes as required.
