Connecting to Microsoft Online Services

In the previous chapter, you learned how to connect and work with Azure. We will now extend this knowledge by showing you some examples for connecting to and using typical Microsoft online services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams. It is important that you understand the basics in the first step, before you move on to the more complicated examples. Try to use your own subscriptions to accomplish these tasks. For all the following examples, we will use the latest PowerShell Core version. If you encounter any problems, though, you can retry the use cases with Windows PowerShell 5.1. This chapter will focus on setting up the connections for the specific services and providing the cmdlet references for further development.
