After eliminating network communications issues, you can also check whether Teams is experiencing a known issue. Microsoft Teams has been integrated with many services inside the Microsoft 365 platform and is under a cycle of continuous development and improvement. Microsoft publishes a list of known issues at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/known-issues, organized by topic areas such as Administration, Chat, and Guest Access. This can be seen in the following screenshot:
The issues list is updated on a regular basis when new issues are discovered or when workarounds have been developed.
In addition to looking at known issues, it's important to keep an eye on the Service Health dashboard, which we'll look at next.
