It's frequent that a user needs to be promptly notified about an action that an Ansible Playbook performs. This can be either because it's important that this user knows about it, or because there is an automated system that has to be notified in order to (not) start some procedure.

The easiest and most common way of alerting people is to send emails. Ansible allows you to send emails from your playbook using a mail module. You can use this module in between any of your tasks and notify your user whenever required. Also, in some cases, you cannot automate each and every thing because either you lack the authority or it requires some manual checking and confirmation.
